CETA is the Certificate of Transfer of Motor Vehicles that must apply for an individual, undivided and legal persons, the country or living abroad, in relation to the transfer of vehicles, excluding machinery (agricultural tractors, combines, cranes, roads and all those that are self-propelled) - and motovehículos, used living in the country, of which they are entitled to the control.
The obligation also includes the assignment of rights to insurance companies or authorities in cases of losses due to theft of the property insured.

- the price agreed for the transfer or
- its value based on table valuations of the National Directorate of National Registries of Automobile Ownership and Credits Pledge of Registration Affairs Undersecretary of the Department of Registration Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Security and Human Rights DNRNPAyCP for the calculation of tariffs in effect at the date of obtaining CETA.

If the amount of the transfer has been agreed in foreign currency shall be converted into local currency, to which end consider the price of the currency involved, the buying rate reported by the Banco de la Nacion Argentina force at the end of the last business day immediately preceding the date of the act of transfer.
IMPORTANT: The buyers of
goods are required to display the CETA to the registrar Branch to formalize their registration. That is, no transfers shall be taken on whether the CETA is not attached to other requirements.
