Shortwood Road Jamaica






As you well a few days later, with the completion summer, I've been turning over in my head to a series of cakes with new flavors and textures. Especially with the reason that all those who tend to enjoy my future creations and fortunate to experience new things and not always the same options when ordering cakes.

Well, as you put in the title of this post, this cake is a cake called kiss created by a dream I had one night, I dreamed that someone would say a phrase while eating ice cream in such flavors: cheese Grapes , know how to kiss. "

This dream made me rethink that a cake like ice cream would be great with this combination of flavors, soft cake too, because they say, elegant.

only lacked a personal touch, something that would enhance the flavors and surprise them, either because it was easy to discover the element 3. The family of my father, life, to end any meal always have left glass of wine for last, because they like the taste with a little cheese or a good dessert. I remembered this story and decided to incorporate it into the cake. It was perfect cheesecake with a caramel interior grapes and wine reduction. Great!!
few days later I started to work and made several test cakes, the cake itself was easy to make a cogiese and texture just missing someone to try. During a dinner with some friends of my parents, take advantage of the situation and I offered my new pie for dessert. It turned out to be a hit for the guests, but my mother (fanatical follower of my work and why I devote myself to this, also a great criticism) and I decided that it lacked certain touches, to which I set out to rectify.
After a few days find the balance we were looking for the solution and the result here have them.

This cake is simple yet surprisingly, a cake that its structure is a mousse of mascarpone, soft cheese and light interior with a caramelized grapes and wine reduction.
Outside, in the first test that failed was that I liked the texture of mascarpone but lacked other cheese with more personality and that's how I came up with a cheese grate semi cured for decoration As a represent the mascarpone quenelles .
But the most interesting was that I did make a kind of glazed over wine reduction, and thought it was a typical jam, but people would be surprised to see that it was a wine reduction. Even the brightness they bring to the cake was great as well of intensify that flavor.

Perhaps for many it is not surprising, but after a dessert I made for a contest work and invention of mine, this is my second creation, at least I have not seen anywhere, so hopefully I feel encouraged to try and be able to appreciate the wonderful flavors of this cake, a different way of eating cheese, grapes and wine entirely. A cake that is sure will eventually be a favorite and will be improved for the enjoyment of all.

long time ago I make no new entry, Sorry for the delay, do not think I've forgotten this blog nor have I ceased my efforts to make people enjoy my dishes and cakes.
